Looking Back At Cleveland Marathon's Past....

I participated in my third Cleveland Marathon event on May 15, 2011 in as many years.  Recently I have received a lot of compliments on my running stride, running form, and overall weight loss transformation.  I need to be proud of my accomplishments and realize that I have been very successful and I have great things to show for it.  I need to look in the mirror and be happy with what I see.  It took a lot of hard work and dedication to get to where I am today.

Ready for redemption

Finishing what I started

Looking back on the past three years I have come to realize that we create our own success.  We lean on our friends for a helping hand but most of all...

In order to grow, we must get comfortable doing uncomfortable things...

To all of my friends that have challenged me to look in the mirror recently....THANK YOU!!!

Keep running, you're simply the best, and you inspire me!!

  1. Someone seems to be growing right before our eyes....
While you have big goals and you want big goals right now...You need to first accept what you have come to do at this moment. Accept where you were and what you have become and be PROUD of it.
Remember, like I say, a person can't wake up tomorrow and just go out and run a marathon. They have to train and learn how to do it.
Cuz if it was easy, we would all do it. And only then can you feel disappointed in yourself. BUT, thats not the case, so NEVER feel disappointed in what you do.
Each run is different, each run is for a purpose and each run is a lesson.

  2. You have done quite a transformation and each step has been amazing. I am so proud of you and know that you are doing amazing things.
I can't wait to see where this journey takes you because so far it has been a wild ride!
