Let's Play 20 (more like 5) Questions...

So, I have all these questions about running products. I figured I would seek advice from the wonderful world of bloggers!

1. Running skirts? Love 'em, hate 'em, loyal to a certain brand?

2. Car magnets and stickers? Prefer the magnet or the sticker? Just numbers or cool sayings?

3. Race fuel? Gu, Power Bar, Sports Beans, Clif, regular old fruit snacks? Nothing?

4. Hair stuff? Bondi Bands? TMB Endurance Bands, GIM headbands, visor, baseball cap?

5. Socks? Knee socks, short socks, no socks?

    1. Haven't found a skirt I love yet
    3. Clif Builder's Bar before a race, GU chomps during, cytomax for a drink on the bike or in fuel belt bottles.
    4. Bobby pins? I'm low-tech haha
    5. Short and definitely moisture wicking ... too many blisters to go cotton!

  2. 1. When my thighs don't rub together I will wear a running skirt. lol.
    2. I am going for stickers. Magnets fall off in the car wash. Oops.
    3. I've used Gu Chomps and beans. Prefer Gu Chopms.
    4. I like Bondi bands and a nice visor if it's super sunny out.
    5. I have cankles so no knee socks, it has to be short socks OR i'll feel like I am wearing compression socks. lol.

    Here's another question: Fuel belt or hand held?

  3. 1. Running skirts? Love 'em, hate 'em, loyal to a certain brand? - They're ok. Not the biggest fan of them but they can be fun and cute. I have two and I got them from Target. I believe they are actually tennis skirts but work just the same.

    2. Car magnets and stickers? Prefer the magnet or the sticker? Just numbers or cool sayings? - Magnets because they don't screw up your pant job BUT they could get taken off so stickers for the windows work too.

    3. Race fuel? Gu, Power Bar, Sports Beans, Clif, regular old fruit snacks? Nothing? - PowerBar Gels because they are more liquid-y and easier to swoosh around my mouth and mix up with water to break down the overwhelming flavor. Sports Beans the 23rd mile of Marathons for some reason or another...

    4. Hair stuff? Bondi Bands? TMB Endurance Bands, GIM headbands, visor, baseball cap? - Solid Colored Bondi Bands are the only ones that stay in place on my very fine hair but sometimes I wear a visor in the summer.

    5. Socks? Knee socks, short socks, no socks? - Short socks w/ zensah calf sleeves if I need them.

    6. Fuel belt or hand held? - Hand held. I can't stand the jostling of a fuel belt.

  4. 1. LOVE to run in skirts. No brand loyalty - just anything that has lots of storage.

    3. GU Chomps or Clif Shot Bloks for anything over 4 miles. Gels for short runs.

    4. Hats or Bondi Bands.

  5. 1. I do love my running skirts but only if I have compression shorts or tights on underneath. I don't like my thighs rubbing together like that.

    2. This is a tough one but I'm gonna go with stickers just because I always forget to take the magnets off before going through the car wash and then I lose them.

    3. I like shot bloks and beans. But both only in cherry. I'm very particular about food though.

    4. I almost always wear a hat but I have short hair so I think the other stuff kinda looks stupid on me. It would be a different story if I could put my hair into a ponytail.

    5. I usually wear just regular short running socks.

    6. Handheld. Hands down! haha I can't stand having something like a fuel belt around my waist.

  6. Whew, goodness. Unfortunately, I say "yes" to every single thing, lol!

    1. I have one running skirt. I've trained in it, and raced in it. It feels the same as shorts to me, so it's just something cute to wear every once in a while.

    2. I have only one sticker on my car, and it's my university sticker. Courtney's point of remembering to take the magnet off before the car wash would be a chief concern of mine!

    3. I use GU or CLIF Blox.

    4. Here's the tricky part: I wear bands or hats, or visors! Lol It just depends on the weather and how far I'm going.

    5. Again, depends on the weather and how far I'm going. I love wearing knee-high compression socks on the long runs in cold temps; but most of the time, it's ankle Nike DRI-FIT.

    6. Hand-held. I've never used a Fuel Belt. I think it'd be annoying.

  7. What a fun idea!! I love visiting your blog!
    1- I love them on other people but I look strange.
    2- Car stickers. I love it when other people have funny stickers. I laugh out loud to them.
    3-Shot blocks and gatorade all the way.
    4-Bondi-bands
    5-Socks
    6-Neither, I am not coordinated enough to hold something.
